In May 2019 the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Board of Trustees has approved the purchase of the Pendleton Country Club in Pendleton, OR
The 248-acre property is within the aboriginal territory of the tribes, according to a news release from CTUIR. Wildhorse Resort and Casino has already begun supervising the maintenance of the 18-hole course and plans to fully integrate the property into its daily operations and management oversight alongside their current 18 hole course. In addition to the golf course, the country club includes a dining room, bar, pro-shop, fitness center, outdoor pool, and space for RV parking.
